About Me:
Mickey was born in Kearney, Nebraska. While growing up under his parents feet watching them create their dream, Mickey developed an outstanding work ethic, and a dedication to perfection. While in his fathers wood shop, they would whittle away the evenings learning, talking, building, creating, fixing and laughing.
Mickey attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 2001-2004. Obsessed with the mountains, the outdoors, and heading westward, he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2004. While here, Mickey developed a strong inner clock working by himself while in the freight industry delivering packages. In 2008, he left the freight industry, and began working under a friend remodeling houses. This brought him back to the joys of building, creating, fixing and learning.
In 2010, Mickey received a job offer in Salt Lake City to be the plant manager of an industrial container refurbishing plant. While working there he learned a lot about machines, welding, designing, maintenance, and working with all types of people. He designed and built a 6 poly drum washer, along with some custom tooling that is still in use today.
In 2017, Mickey left the plant to pursue his dreams of helping people. Going back to his childhood roots of learning, building, fixing, and creating Mickey opened up the doors of Alpine Arc, LLC.
It started off as a custom design and welding operation. As the business grew, he discovered clients were looking for custom steel as well as woodwork in their yards and homes. While on site, clients sometimes needed a hand around the house. This ranged from fixing a trash compactor, building fences/decks, painting interiors and exteriors, install hardware/fixtures, cleaning out the gutters, sealing decks, etc. This is when the handyman side of Alpine Arc, LLC came into fruition. Mickey is able to help those that are looking for someone to fix, create, and build the ideas in their head. From honey-do lists to custom decks and welding a custom hand railing Alpine Arc, LLC is there for you from start to finish.
When he is not working, Mickey can be found along the Wasatch front climbing, camping, and paddle boarding with his fiancé Heather & their dog Marley.
